“Brilliant, innovative business concept and much needed,” lauded the judges. “As vital as a will is in estate planning, an exit strategy is the last thing business owners think of.” Which is exactly why Jane Johnson, President, Business Transition Academy (BTA), helps owners plan for and successfully transition out of their businesses.

Johnson, who is also the co-author of Cashing Out of Your Business: Your Last Great Deal, won the Silver Stevie Award in the category of Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Business Services (Small) for offering the first exit planning training academy for business owners. “Jane has definitely created a unique business,” said one judge. She “serves as a role model … and is making a big impact on businesses … creating life-long business models to ensure they are sustainable, including in times like this.”

BTA empowers owners to take control of their future and make the sale of their businesses the best deal of their lives, which is especially critical in this time of uncertainty. The Academy provides all the education, tools, and support they need to develop their exit plans and make the best possible decisions toward achieving a successful exit. BTA members receive a six-step roadmap, video lessons, planning templates, and highly skilled Transition Mentors to guide them every step of the way.

“I am honored to receive this Stevie Award. It validates the importance of the work we’re doing with business owners – enabling them to change the trajectory of their lives as they plan for their exits.” Johnson said. “We want to help them develop exit strategies for the current generation of owners while ensuring their businesses are sustainable for the next generation. It’s gratifying to be recognized for the dramatic impact we’ve had on owners’ lives over the last decade, and with our new memberships, we hope to help as many owners as possible over the next decade.”

Johnson adds: “During the recent crisis, we have helped many business owners develop their own strategically sound exit plans that will enable them to exit as soon as possible. We strive to do everything we can to help them achieve their goals. Owners must plan their exit in order to maximize business value and sell when the time is right. Those who leave it to chance, may miss out on their opportunity to exit and will not fare as well as those who have a plan in place.”

Attend our upcoming webinar exclusively for business owners and hear from owners who have successfully navigated the exit planning process to achieve their own deal of the lifetime. We’ll also discuss our next Live Business Owner EXPERT Mastermind Group that starts in January. We’re bringing together a select group of owners to learn best practices and proactively plan for their exits.

Don’t let another year go by without having an exit plan. Join BTA to take control of your future and ensure business continuity. https://www.BusinessTransitionAcademy.com
